TWIC is an acronym for Transportation Worker Identification Credential.  It is a certification from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and is administered by both, the TSA and the US Coast Guard.
The main purpose of TWIC is to ensure that people who pose a risk to national security are not given unescorted access to US ports and airports.

To qualify for a TWIC, a person must consent to and pass a thorough background check.  Once the background check has been completed, a biometric identification card is issued.

Paragon Excavation LLC is a current TWIC card holder.

HAZWOPER is an acronym for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standards. All workers that are exposed, or could be potentially exposed, to hazardous materials, must be HAZWOPER trained and certified.  HAZWOPER is regulated by the US Department of Labor, more specifically the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Training consists of either a one time, 24-hour curriculum or 40-hour curriculum (the required curriculum is base of the likelihood of exposure), and a yearly refresher class.

Paragon Excavation LLC is 40-hour HAZWOPER trained and certified.
